What is Sonic Online?

Sonic Online is a 3D MMORPG platformer hybrid. Started on May 21st 2021, this project aims to do what has never been done before.. Make a Sonic MMO, mixing all versions of Sonic (games, movies, comics, etc.) to do so!

When is it coming out?

We do not have a release date yet, but it's expected to release around 2023-2024. Please be patient while we slowly build the game.

How can I keep up with updates?

You can subscribe to our YouTube channel and join our public Discord.

What is the web demo?

The web demo is a Point & Click version of the first area, Station Green, that can be played without downloading the game. Just note that it will not resemble the final product in many ways.

Can I help with the game's dev?

Join our server and go to #team-apply, answer the pinned questions and you'll be able to help!

Note: this is a fan-game and as such is not by SEGA, Sonic Team or any other companies. This is simply a fan-made MMO we made because... Why not? Selling this or putting it as part of a bundle is NOT allowed and is illegal. You may however put it on a DVD, CD or other storage medium and pass it to friends and such as long as you do not charge for it. Putting Sonic Online on any storage medium makes said medium with Sonic Online on it automatically free.
